The January 7, 2012 Membership meeting was called by the Vice President, Mike Winitzer at 3:04 pm. There were 19 members present.

New Members:
There were no new members this month.
 

Past Functions:
The club held our annual holiday raffle in December and had the best turnout ever! The place was packed!
Just ask Vern who went home with the live Christmas tree that he and everyone else wanted so badly, NOT. Hey we’re willing to try anything once?
We held a special raffle at the end of the day and winners were-
$100.00 Market Basket certificate went to “Shana”. The $50.00 in cash went to Julies Norton. And the $25.00 in cash went to “Bucket” yea I said bucket, He has to be a friend of Verns???
 

Upcoming Events:
Then scheduled for February 19th and also the 26th we will hold a couple more ice derbies. (Ice permitting; please make sure to check the club’s answering machine for updates/cancellations). The derbies will start at 7:00 and will end at 1:00. The fee to fish is $12.00 for adults and kids under the age of 14 are $6.00. Breakfast and lunch will be available. Bring your own bait.
 

New Business:
Nominations of club officers: The following positions will be available for voting at the February membership meeting.
Vice President: Mike Winitzer
Secretary: Jim Yeaton
Ex. Officer: Larry Bevis
Board of Directors: Vern Leger
There will also be 3 questions on the ballot pertaining to what the club members wish to do with the pavilion located by the archery range.
Voting will take place at the February membership meeting from 1:00 to 3:30.
 

Good and Welfare:
“Lunch” is now being offered at the club meeting for a low price so why not plan on eating with us? Next month we will offer steamed hot dogs and homemade chili. Save your appetite!!
It was brought up that the “calendar cards” that went out with the renewals are incorrect. They are missing 2 derbies, one April 8th and the other Nov. 4th. The calendar that is in your newsletter is correct and each function will be removed as it occurs. All functions are also posted on the club’s website.
Members are reminded that your daily fish catch is now 3 and juniors are at 2, until further notice.
Not present to win the attendance drawing was Stephen Chisholm. The consolation was won by Brenda Saucier. The 50/50 liability raffle was won by Moises Oyola it was worth $33.00
